Speed to Market Pays

The Atlas Door Company’s strategy, which proved remarkably successful, was to respond to customer needs for special doors faster than competition.  A critical part of this strategy was the selection of key suppliers that could respond to these tight customer time requirements.  The firm’s pre-tax earnings have been 20% of sales, which is about five times the industry average.
