| Detroit Edison is a prime example of the Design/ Build/Use Model.
Using this model, Detroit Edison has been through several iterations of
building their work
environment and they continue to use our rapid prototyping methods to the benefit of those that work in the space. Through the iterations of their design, several stages have become apparent. First, in May 1999 they used a loaner environment to get up and running with knowledge workers from the MG Taylor network helping to train new staff and open new ideas of transition management. Then, a small project-oriented environment arrived in early July. Under construction is a large environment which will be the permanent Learning Center. Photos here are from the small project-oriented center. As soon as the full Learning Center opens in February, we will add photos of that environment. |
