WorkWall Units are a basic ingredient in MG Taylor processes and in AI environments. Working large on the walls, and displaying client or center staff work and new materials from books and articles facilitate an essential part of our processes. In finding solutions in any complex system, all of the participants must be able to see and react to all of the materials and ideas at the same time. The write-on/wipe-off aspect of the walls enables the iterative process by allowing easy revision of a plan, model, or list.
WorkWall units' surfaces are made
of porcelain steel, and work in conjunction with our Hypertiles--magnetic
11"x17" sheets with a sitcky surface to display client paperwork. They
are framed in sturdy wood and have casters for easy movement of event the
largest WorkWall surfaces. The ability to move the units allows Center
staff to reconfigure the space at a moment's notice, changing an area from
a large group "theater" to small group or individual spaces as many times
a day as is necessary to facilitate the work.

| Straight Wall. These units are ideal for their flexibility and comfort. If a group suddenly decides it needs more writing surface, just roll another wall into their work area. If a group decides it wants to report its whole wall to the larger group, just roll the wall into the Radiant Room. Standard straight walls are built as stand-alone units. Custom WorkWall units can be wall-hung, or can form the "doors" to a set of storage units. |
